Our Covid-19 Statement

As with all small businesses, we at Sharon Leon are working hard to minimise risk and manage the developing impacts of the current Covid-19 outbreak. We would like to reassure you that our showrooms are still open for business, with our focus on doing our best for our staff, families, customers, suppliers, local communities and friends. We would also like to remind customers that we offer free carpet and flooring consultations from the comfort of your own home, anywhere in the Highlands of Scotland. We have an array of samples which we can take out to you – just give us a call to discuss.

Our staff

The health and wellbeing of all our staff are being carefully monitored and we are following all guidelines in relation to public health. We are committed to ensuring our showrooms are cleaned thoroughly and surfaces are disinfected frequently. All our staff have been provided with hand sanitiser and will be implementing social distancing where possible.

We are sure that you will appreciate these extra precautions so we can all do our bit to keep our business running as safely as possible.

Our customers

During this time, it’s a good idea to phone in advance to make an appointment to visit our showroom. We can carry these out in line with social distancing guidelines.

We would like to ask all our customers to please refrain from coming into our showroom if you are feeling unwell or have any of the virus’ symptoms (a cough or fever).  We’d be happy to speak to you on the phone as an alternative.

For customers who have a carpet or flooring fitting booked in the coming weeks and months, we would like to reassure customers that it is business as usual. All our fitters are supplied with protective equipment (i.e. gloves and masks) and where possible, we will be asking customers to be in a different room while our fitter is working.

If you have any concerns about an upcoming scheduled fitting, please get in touch with us to discuss the best option for you or your business. We will happily postpone your fitting if required.

Vinyl offers one of the resilient and easy to clean floorings. It’s comfortable underfoot and because it comes in a massive variety of colours, styles and designs, it’s easy to achieve a high-end look at an affordable price. Some luxury vinyl tiling is so good at mimicking hardwood, you might struggle to spot the difference! If you entertain a lot of guests, this could be the no-brainer flooring for you.
